GotYa! takes a silent snapshot through the front facing camera of the criminal who is attempting to use your device, whenever the screen lock is entered incorrectly.

THERE'S NO UNINSTALL ISSUE AT ALL, PEOPLES COMPLAININGS JUST MISSED THAT THEY HAVE TO DISABLE THE SERVICE FIRST. OTHERWISE, ANDROID WON’T LET YOU UNINSTALL.
Since GotYa! is a standalone program, it will NOT send your data to a remote server like others do.
GotYa! can be controlled through simple remote SMS commands, for example, you can :
- Lock/Unlock your device
- Request a location
- Request a callback
- Play an alarm sound (even if muted)
- Be notified on SIM change
Moreover, the new "Friendly Mode", if enabled, allows GotYa! to grant access to your device after some wrong attempts, while sending the device location in background !

Q: How do I raise the capture size ?
R: Only GotYa! FULL supports full size capture. Please update.
Q: I have a pin code on my SIM card. Is it the same ?
R: NO. Please set up a screen lock.
Q: How to setup a screen lock ?
R: Go to Settings -> Location & Security -> Set up screen lock.
Q: Which screen lock is supported (pattern, pin code, password...) ?
R: All of them. No limitations !
R: Use your favorite file manager and point it to the /mnt/sdcard/Android/com.myboyfriendisageek.gotyalite/ directory.
Q: I can't uninstall !
R: To uninstall, please first disable GotYa!
Q: I'm not receiving email alerts !
R: Only the full version of GotYa! supports email alerts.
Q: I'm running Froyo, but my front camera isn't recognized !
R: Froyo does NOT *officially* support front camera access to third party developers. GotYa! WILL try various workarounds for you, but please note that this is *experimental* and may NOT works. You can help us to support your device by sending us some informations about your camera using the "Support" button inside the application. We will do our best to update our application for Froyo, but you may have to consider upgrading to Gingerbread (or newer) for a 100% support.
