遊戲中，你擁有一家運輸公司，可以修建鐵路、公路、機場和港口，然後購買運輸工具來運輸貨物和乘客，遊戲 時間 從1950年開始，到2050年結束，以公司價值最高的玩家為勝出者。 當你修建成功一條連接幾個大陸的高速鐵路時，那種成就感是在公園裡修過山車不可比擬的，要知道修建跨海大橋的費用是天文數字，必須在遊戲中累計幾十年的資金才能有足夠的財力來修建此類大橋。
鐵路修好後，再配上速度最快的磁懸浮列車，滿載乘客（遊戲後期運人比運貨收入高）穿山過海到達目的地， 屏幕 上的Incoming數字會讓你覺得很爽，當然，這樣一條奢華的鐵路可能到遊戲結束時也不一定能收回成本。 遊戲雖然提供了四種運輸途徑，但前期只有鐵路是能賺錢的，後期則以航空的收入最高，公路運輸建議大家不搞，不但賺錢少，而且汽車經常被橫跨公路的火車撞爆，至於輪船，有錢沒處用時可以搞些高速氣墊船玩玩。
